Posted Mar 17, 2018 at 2:44 AM Well, there are two recent movies. "Goodbye, Christopher Robin" really misses the mark in its depiction of A.A. Milne. Not only does the film distort the chronology of events in Milne's life, it misleads viewers regarding his motives for writing the Pooh books. Plus, there is no evidence that Milne suffered from PTSD. Milne was first and foremost a satirist. His greatest work in that vein was the collection of stories parodying Winston Churchill in Winnie-the-Pooh. The recent film "Darkest Hour" nicely compliments my book with Gary Oldman's portrayal of Winston Churchill. Thank you for asking. To the uneducated, an A is just three sticks. --- Eeyore |
