For the past 20 years I have been trying to solve the mystery of Winnie-the-Pooh's identity. I have finally concluded my research with sensational results and would like to announce to the Forum that my book, titled "Winston Pooh: An Investigation into the Real Story behind the Stories" is now available at abebooks.com - anyone who enjoys word play should appreciate the remarkable work of A. A. Milne and be interested in how Winnie-the-Pooh came about.

Well, there are two recent movies. "Goodbye, Christopher Robin" really misses the mark in its depiction of A.A. Milne. Not only does the film distort the chronology of events in Milne's life, it misleads viewers regarding his motives for writing the Pooh books. Plus, there is no evidence that Milne suffered from PTSD. Milne was first and foremost a satirist. His greatest work in that vein was the collection of stories parodying Winston Churchill in Winnie-the-Pooh. The recent film "Darkest Hour" nicely compliments my book with Gary Oldman's portrayal of Winston Churchill. Thank you for asking.

Thank YOU, Judy, for educating me! I just recently saw the first movie and will now look for the more recent one!
Be fun to see the two portrayals! I'll let you know after I see it!
