More About This Site
This site is designed, hosted, and maintained by
Virtu Software, a company specializing in educational, corporate, and
church software.
I remember, as a child, spending hours upon hours upon hours solving these
style puzzles, and when I began programming computers, I thought it would be
fun to re-create this puzzle for the computer, so you could just click your
mistakes away.
After designing the software as a desktop application, I decided it would be
infinitely preferable to redesign it as a web application, so people could have
the fun of competing against each other for speed and accuracy. The result is
the website you are looking at. I hope you enjoy it!
About The Quotes
The quotes are, to the best of my knowledge, in the public domain. I collected
them from a wide variety of sources, and have done my best to make sure
misquotations, spelling mistakes, etc. have been removed. Obviously this is a
daunting task, so if you find a mistake in a quotation, please let me know, but
please do so courteously!
Also, please don't bother to email me that you disagree with a quotation; even
I don't agree with all the quotations here, and I selected them myself. In many
cases, you will find two quotations which state exactly the opposite of one
another. My intent was not to post only quotations which maintain one
particular viewpoint, but to provide a combination of humorous and
thought-provoking ideas.
So, enjoy the quotations, and ponder them long and hard enough to determine
whether you agree with them, and if you want to comment, click the
"Discussion" link after solving the puzzle, and share your thoughts!
